In this episode, we are thrilled and honored to welcome Beth, a French teacher who travels the world with her students both in and out of the classroom. Beth is the quintessential teacher who understands the important role teachers play in the education of children and that the lifelong impact the relationships and experiences we have with our students can change them and guide them forever! She says that, as teachers, “we mentor our students into situations and had them through the learning journey to make life connections and grow their experiences and memories and life skills.” To her, this is such a gift and a blessing. She says that traveling with students and fellow teachers and making those heart connections is a way to fill our cups and help us stay inspired. That is why funding for travel scholarships for both students and teachers is so critical. It is also critical what we teach them in the classroom and that we “prepare them with life skills and give them a growth model to guide them on their life paths.” There are SO MANY great quotes to take away from this enlightening and inspiring conversation with a professional who gives from the heart every day and reminds us all: “Don’t close any doors on your way out. Continue to be open, be willing to learn and be sure to make authentic, lifelong connections that will keep us growing and moving forward!”  Listen and have a note pad ready to write down what Beth says that inspires you, and then, spread the love and share with a colleague, student or anyone else who needs to hear the message!
